A Creature in the Black Loch
Book Three of The Wand Maker's Son - A mysterious and magical adventure of rising waters, ancient magic and a creature determined to remain free.
Part of
The Wand Maker's Son
Pip Vale helped free Morven from the magic that once bound her. Now the ancient creature has sent him a warning. Three connected waters are coming apart, and the danger has already found its way into his home.
On the loch's shore, Pip meets Ewan, a boy determined to capture Morven in a photograph. Ewan thinks proof will make people believe him. He does not know that his pictures could help something beneath the water find a way through. One of them already shows a figure nobody saw when the photograph was taken.
As water climbs uphill and reflections begin to move on their own, the trail leads back to Solomon Vale and the old commands he left behind. Silas and Arthur may be able to break the damaged lock, but Pip, Miri and Ewan must first reach the place where three waters meet.
- Morven can help them.
- She can also refuse.
- This time, the choice must be hers.
Pip has until dawn to stop the crossing. To do it, he must trust his friends, face what his family helped create and find a way to protect Morven without taking her freedom again.
